According to different articles I have read in a number of papers around the league:

Eddie House was waived by the Bobcats. He shoots nearly 42% behind the arc, and averages about 11 pts a game

Bo Outlaw was waived by the Grizzlies, apparently due to a personal conflict with the outgoing coach Hubie Brown, and would be, in my opinion, a GREAT PF for our team. He would provide the necessary energy/hustle level and would rebound and defend. I think he is head-and-shoulders above any PF we have defensively.

Also, perhaps my favorite player available for trade, Kareem Rush will almost definitely be traded by the Lakers. I think this guy would tremendously help take off some pressure of T-Mac and also Yao and keep defenses honest, he can really shoot. The Lakers are apparently looking to trade him for only a second-round pick! Any suggestions as to how we can make this one happen?

OK, well here are some more players their teams are looking to move...

    According to Peter Vescey:

"The Sixers have been marketing Thomas' wares/$41M, six-year responsibility. The Grizzlies are desperate for a tough guy to do the dirty work who isn't stat-conscious, which might eliminate Thomas. Jason Williams and Bonzi Wells are the bait, especially the profane point guard, said to be Hubie Brown's and Jerry West's least favorite"

"The Cavaliers are looking to deal Dajuan Wagner and DeSagana Diop for players on the end of their contracts. . . . Warriors are looking to do the same with regards to Michael Pietrus"

And here is some interesting info about Mo Taylor:

"Powerless forward Maurice Taylor (zero rebounds in 29 minutes Tuesday against Detroit) might very well be sitting alongside Juwan Howard in Jeff Van Gundy's doghouse if the Rockets weren't so eager to trade him. You can't make Houston' an offer for Taylor it'll refuse."

I'd take Jason Williams off Memphis' hands.

Jackie - thx for your help on policing this thread, I hope you reported it as well. I hope others are as grateful as me for your contributions.

House would be a decent pickup. He can play behind T-mac or even next to T-mac when tracy is handling the ball. He is shooting 45% from the field which is better than any of our guards. Dont know how effective he is on defense or why the Bobcats suddenly decided to cut him.

At this point, we could use anyone that can put the ball in the basketball from the perimeter.

Sources claim that Bickerstaff approached House on Saturday and told him that he believed the trade for Rush would happen Monday. According to sources, Bickerstaff believed that Rush would take most of House's playing time and wanted to give House the chance to earn playing time somewhere else.

House should have a number of options. The Nuggets, Heat, Celtics and Rockets are among the teams that have expressed interest in House.

Looks like we are one of the teams looking at House...hopefully we can get him

I just saw this a few minutes ago myself. I'm definitely hoping we get him, as we're in need of offense, and he can fill it up. He'd be perfect in a 3-man rotation with McGrady and Sura, as both of them have the size to guard shooting guards. Gotta make sure we don't overpay him if we do get him though.

Well we don't have any money so I don't see that happening. And he's making the minimum and was cut from an expansion team, so I really doubt that he'd be expecting a moochie-like deal. At least, not until the offseason. :p

I wouldn't have seen it happening either. Then Brian Cardinal got $42 million. Now I don't bother having expectations when it comes to salaries.

Good god, I can't believe this guy got that kind of cash for 1 good season. 6/3 for 42 mil? I thought Jerry West was suppose to be a genius, not a chump.
