Here is a sample rotation (not complete, but for the main players), with deviations as the current game dictates: Harden 12:00 to 3:00 1st, 9:00 to end 2nd (18 min.), Same thing 2nd half (18 min.) Parsons 12:00 to 0:00 1st, 6:00 to end 2nd (18 min.), Same thing 2nd half (18 min.) Lin 6:00 1st to 9:00 2nd, 6:00 2nd-end of half (15 min.), Same thing 2nd half (15 min.) Bev in while Lin is out, occasionally play together (18 min+) Howard 12:00-0:00 1st, 6:00-0:00 2nd (18 minutes), Same thing 2nd half (18 min.) Asik 3:00 1st to 3:00 2nd (12 min.), Same thing 2nd half (12 min.) This way you get 36 minutes out of Harden, Howard and Parsons, 30 minutes for Lin and 24 minutes for Asik. Twin towers are on the court for a total 12 minutes a game and you always have either Howard or Asik in the game, which I love. Bev would start and play 18 minutes+ at a minimum, at times you may play Bev and Lin together, particularly while Harden is on the bench. I'm not sure who would play PF but would likely play 36 minutes between all the different players. Obviously deviations would occur. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether it is better to start Lin to maximize PnR spacing with him and Dwight or to have him come off the bench, wherein he would end up playing with Twin Towers more often than not. Would it help to bring Lin in earlier and wait a bit longer to bring in Asik? Is this realistic, how do you think McHale/Morey will plan out the rotations?
As much talk as there has been around here about Lin being a sixth man, I think he'll be starting. I'm sure the minutes and subs will stagger after that.
agree...coach will at least start Jlin at the beginning of the season. I doubt they'll play Dwight and Asik 12 mins at the same time.
