I went into this season expecting to watch this guy's progress. And I was really happy to find him ranked so high on the Preseason Rookie Rankings. The latest Rankings don't even mention him: http://www.nba.com/rookies/rankings.html
I have an IDEA!! How about you stop playing Padgett JVG and instead.. (get this one) play Novak!! He can't be any worse then Padgett but maybe he can be better. copy from a post in game thread
i agree please play some novak. its what we needed all last year and so far this season. SHOOTING. now he sits on the bench : (
I can't honestly see any legit reason why he shouldn't be getting at least 10 minutes a game. He seems like he's already better in an overall benefit type of way that guys like Garritty or Padgett and they get run.
I dont understand why Padgett is still playing. He doesn't play any defense or at least not better than Novak, he's pretty one demensional, and Novak is a better shooter and taller. there is no reason to not have Novak in there especially in a game like tonight's when they only made 1 3 pointer.
Didn't see the first half, just listened to it on the radio. It sounded like both teams were completely inept on offense. Maybe Novak could have knocked down some 3 pointers and stretched the lead before halftime.
Novak looked lost when he was playing on offense and defense. Unless he shows that he knows where hes suppose to be on every play, JVG shouldn't play him.
I agree. Play novak! I'm getting sick of jvg and his love for crap players. First bowen. Now Padgett! Nets picked up Padgett based on JVG's recommendation. Then nets find out he sucks and never play him. JVG steps in and picks him right back up at the expense of his first love bowen.
Put a deadly 3per shooter on the floor when the team is shooting less than 20% from behind the arc. Is that too much to ask? With the all the new rules introduced each year and even old ball changed, when we're gonna see one that allows trading coaches. Damn, I'm a JVG hater...
yeah...I agree. It seems like padgett's shot is very predictable. Unless he's wide open he won't make it. He's a good signing, but now that we know novak's ready...why not play him.
what do you guys expect? JVG already said he hated rookies - he didn't trust them, and probably never will. The only reason he played Head a lot was everyone was injured last year. Even then, he said many times that he hated having to play Head. Bonehead coach! OK, he is a pretty good coach, but still a bonehead.
I agree with you that he's a boneheaded coach....but only because i can almost see the bones on top of his head.
