He didn't exactly live up to summer league hype during the preseason, which doesn't bode well for playing time. He'll have to work it in practice to get any time, methinks. The other option is for Rafer, VSPan, and Head to get injured.

    Thanks for the quotes.

In another thread, I want a little more minutes to v-span and novak. not JLIII.

JLIII played well in the summer. But the preseason games prove he is far away to contribute to the team. I was actually surprised he was offered contract this year after his performance last season.

I'd play Span before I play JLIII.

Yea, let's give minutes to a 5'10" guard who can't shoot and is a defensive liability.

he will get some minutes as long as he knows what a PG should normally do.

Why would you want to play the lowest man on the totem pole ? are all the guards injured and he's the last man standing

we have to many gaurds as it is.. i imagine he would get release sometime in the middle of the season. Vspan, Head, and Alston is all the rockets need for a pg. JL3 is to much hype i think because of his father.. i wasn't impressed with any of his plays during preseason. I have to admit though... vspan turns over balls alot and you can't do that when your a point guard.. i really like his defense though.

Because the Point Guard position is well covered with McGrady, Alston and Head. JLIII would only be the FOURTH option for this position.
