This was probably already posted and close this if it was but did Mr. Gundy really say this?

"We all felt a sense of urgency," Alston said. "Coach was talking about it, 'Play, have fun, but we have to start turning things around before this season gets out of hand.' "

Does this mean Alston is out of the dog house?...just kidding....

This is my first post after lurling for years....GO ROcks!!!

You know, I thought during the 4th quarter, "I wonder if JVG just said, go out and score, I don't care how you do it, just score." This is similiar to when he told T-Mac to do what he does best last season around this time.

It was refreshing to see the Rockets score...I mean 123 points! You could hear the excitement come back to Worrell on the broadcast, hehehe. It reminded me why I sat through all those painful loses. It gives me so much hope for what the team can accomplish, THIS team...not one with different pieces. If they trade, they trade, but I like our team.

Playing against the Wizards cures a lot of offensive woes but it is still very nice to see.

    :D

Having Rafer finally back really shows how nice it was to have Luther Head get real minutes this season, because now with JL3 and Moochie we actually have enough guards that David Wesley can actually, you know, take a rest now and then during the game. The poor guy shouldn't have to play 40 minutes at his age, and I expect he'll play more solidly with an actual ROTATION in place.

The better news is that someday Barry and Anderson will be back, too. When they do return, maybe TMac can take breathers and hey, maybe we'll get back to the halcyon days of Ryan Bowen only playing a few minutes every other game or so. Dare we dream?

Last night T-Mac got a pretty good rest and we scored while he was out. It definitly gets you pumped about what are team can do when everyone shows up.

Ooooohhhhhh. NOW it's out of hand!? It's been out of hand. I don't know where JVG has been the last 5 games.

Why does it take us being pushed to the brink for him to say this? He should have said this when the season started with the type of players we have on the team. It is sad that it has had to happen this way this season and last.

How am I supposed to know what JVG has said outside of what the players and newspapers report he does/says? The fact is, this is the 1st time I have heard him actually say this when it was clear to many people before the season that we should have allowed players such as Rafer Alston, Stromile Swift, and Derek Anderson to be more creative, instead of them being pigeonholed into JVG's offensive sets everytime down the floor.

Can one of the moderators please close my thread?
I don't want to take up any unnecessary bandwidth.
There doesn't appear to be much interest in it at this point.

    Thanx
