I recently won a new 42 inch LG plasma television. Since I got the TV and fired it up, I have noticed that there seems to be an issue on the far right side of the screen. The right five or so inches of my screen, from top to bottom, seems to be blurry, there are fuzzy dots that seem to be constant, and when there are bright colors on the screen (for example, someone's skin, or a well lit scene with lots of sunlight), the colors just look completely off. I don't know how to describe it. Is there any way to fix this? I only have this problem with a certain part of the display, the rest of it looks fine. Am I going to have to try to get a new one TV from the manufacturer?
Pretty easy to get them to send a tech out. For Samsung you just fill out a request online and pick which company you want the tech to come from. I assume its just as easy with LG. I also assume its under manufacturer warranty. The tech should either fix it for free or request a new set from LG.
see if you can find it here: http://www.fixya.com/support/p181142-lg_42px5d_42_in_hdtv_plasma_television/solutions also make sure your settings aren't too high.
Free TV you won? Is it a Sany, RCO, Samsong, Zanith, or a Mitsubashi? Maybe a Magnovax, or a Banasonic?
