Its that time of year and I have a few Christmas parties to attend due to work... and I am going to have to go out and buy a new suit for them. I need one for tonight and of course I've put it off until the last minute. Does anyone know of a place that sells decent suit (under $250) in the Westchase or Friendswood/Clear Lake areas? I know Men's Wearhouse sells plenty for right around $300 bucks, but since I only wear suits once or twice a year (I'm in IT) the cheaper the better... as long as it doesn't look cheap. I've heard of K&G, has anyone else gotten suits from them in the past? Other shops/names would help too.

Any and all help is appreciated, and sooner rather then later.

If you are willing to spend up to $250, check Dillards mens suit department. Right now there is not that big a demand for suits and they might be having a sale. I got a great deal on a Ralph Lauren suit at Dillards and it is very good quality.

Yeah, I usually do most of my shopping at Dillards and was going to drop by Baybrook on the way home... I would like a couple alternatives though seeing as I put it off at the last minute.

    LOL! Those guys scare me...

There is a K&G at 45 and Nasa Road 1, will probably try and hit them up. Anyone shopped there before? There is a Dillards and Men's Wearhouse close too, so I guess I have m fall backs.

Yeah, if I was smart I would have started looking weeks ago... no time to dig today, I'm taking off early at 4 and have to be back by 7... and I have to throw a 70 mile round trip in there to boot.

They must have improved recently, their suits were thread bare last time I checked there. Very cheaply made.

k&g is more cheaper but you lose in the quality department.

men's wearhouse is a nice balance.

I've done KG, and its alright...There are some good mixed in with the bad...You just have to go through the weeds. Problem is, how long will the alteration last?

My brother has done Foley's and has been satisfied. The last suit I bought was when I was in South Koreo. High Quality suit for $200. Also got a blazer, shirts, ties, etc. Hell, I'll be wearing my SK suit tomorrow night for my xmas party...Good Luck...

    Christmas party? Company paid?

Our company buys us lunch...catered by the company cafeteria...to bring back to our desk to eat. Hohoho.

If you look, you can find really nice suits for cheap at Macy's. I bought a Ralph Lauren for like $300 pretty recently.
