    Hmmm...nice pick up.

Seems like he won't see much court time but he knows the organization and he'll push the young big guys in practice. Maybe he can get Charlie V and Blatche to show a little more tenacity. Both are nice versatile players but are just not tough enough to reach their full potential.

So he gets paid $1.3 million for sitting on the end of the bench...sounds like a good deal.

He played 24 minutes per game for Cleveland last year. I wouldn't call that rotting on the bench.

Ahh, yeah. Don't know why I said Blatche.

Maybe he needs to get tougher too. :p

I don't understand why they brought him back. Everything I've heard is that he isn't a great team mate and kind of a jerk in the locker room. I don't see him being much of a mentor to the younger guys unless he "mentors" them the way he did Joakim Noah

Is it me or was this guy effective for a short time? He only plays one side of the ball, you would think he could still be pretty good at his specialty.

He just wanted to end his career where he won his only title.

I wish Dream had ended his career in Houston instead of the unspeakable city we never traded him to. (well, at least in my mind it didn't happen)

The Rockets could have used him for that type of contract. He could add some toughness to the front court. A year deal is very manageable and low risk.

Well, good for him. I never understand the hate for the championship Pistons - I actually think its totally awesome that they won with a roster full of role-players surrounding a borderline all-star with superstar heart. I liked them, especially Chauncey and Tayshaun.

I don't know that this makes them a whole lot better this year, but it certainly can't hurt, and if I were a Pistons fan I would be glad he returned.
