Anybody think Iverson would make it to the finals again? Denver cannot handle good defensive teams and they don't play defense. I'm feeling sad for Iverson.

The Nuggets defense is really bad.

Rip had time to look at the basket, took a little dribble, stared at the basket again for 2 sec, and then looked around and still nobody ran at him, so Rip finally said "Okay, I'll shoot" and made his 3 ptr. Ricdulous.

i don't feel bad for AI. Its a pity that Philly might make the Leastern conference playoffs and he will be at home hating on the younger AI

LOL ... I didn't even think of that. Poor guy.

It is kind of funny how Philly hardly got any worse when they traded Iverson for Miller, and Denver hardly got any better. It's interesting how big numbers don't necessarily translate to winning.

George Karl must have told the Nuggets that their grand mothers can play better than them. Now, the deficit is down to 10: 73-83.

After beating MEM, TOR (minus Bosh) and SEA, some people thought the Nugs might be poised for a run. Maybe. Maybe not. An effort like tonight doesn't bode well for them.

I hope they make it to the Playoffs so that we can play them. We can easily win the series in the fifth game.

Nugs need a shot of JVG next year.

Build around MELO, they would have been better off with Melo and Dre Miller and adding some defensive pieces.

Trade AI, fire Karl. Hire JVG, they could be really good next year.

I don't think Denver cares about winning. Usually, I would criticize anyone who said something like that but the way this team plays is a joke. They don't even acknowledge the side of the court where they are not shooting.

It's kind of embarrassing to have a team like that still competing for a playoff spot.

Oh yeah, it's really embarrassing when a 40-27 team is competing for a playoff spot. That makes a lot of sense when a 29-38 team will probably make the playoffs the same year.

I didn't say Denver is the only symptom of what is wrong with the league.

Thoughts on the game from a wiser man than I:

-- Kelly Dwyer, Ball Don't Lie

Sums it up. Keep believing that the Nugs are bad at D guys. Last night, they were. But for the most part, it's their offense that's keeping them out of the playoffs.

EDIT: BTW, I didn't think we'd win this game anyway (actually predicted Pistons 95, Nugs 80 on the Nugs board), and am much more concerned with the next 4 games. If we win all 4 (as we should), we're making the playoffs. If not, you're going to see me posting a LOT about Kevin Love and Ty Lawson. At least the Mavs and Warriors lost last night.
