The Rockets started the trend of hiring Hall of Famers as coach, now Pistons thinking about the same.

Is their a purpose in describing Zeke as an ex-IU star?

Woody would be a decent choice or maybe they can reward Laimbeer for being such a good soldier.

For Detroit, Laimbeer should be the logical choise.

I remember those awesome days very well, but nobody outside of Indiana does. Zeke, Randy Wittman, Ray Tolbert, Landon Turner (a buddy of mine pulled him out of the car when he got paralyzed), Ted Kitchel. They kicked UNC (Worthy, Perkins, Al Wood) in the rump the day Reagan got shot which kind of muted everything (except in Bloomington itself).
