I loved all three. Second one was probably my favorite, with the first and third both equally good in my opinion. I heard Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly wouldn't be back because of budget constraints, but it'd be dumb to bring back their characters simply because their story arc had completed. It's time for some new adventures with Sparrow.
God I love me some MOnkey Island! Waiting for the next chapter! As for POTC......the 3rd movie SUCKED. I'll watch the 4th though. Love Pirate stuff...
surprised that people actually liked the third one. probably the dumbest, most convoluted plot of any movie i've ever seen. and yes, i realize that it's just supposed to be a fun movie, but to me it represents everything that is wrong with hollywood. no real effort was put into writing a story that made any sense.
I thought the third was worth the price of admission just for this scene... Will see, go again, see a third time at the dollar theater... and buy it. And go to Disneyland and WDW and re-ride the POTC ride that started it all.
The 3rd had many many boring parts Especially the one where Jack first shows up on the beach and he just goofs around alone for what felt like forever.....collecting rocks or something stupid
I was entertained by all of them. But with 2 little boys, there's no way I won't be paying to see this movie.
The 3rd movie was so bad I literally almost fell asleep while seeing it in theaters. The 4th will need to score universal rave reviews to pique my interest.
So much hating on the 3rd film. I agree it was a little bloated and excessive at times, but it was still fun to watch. For awhile, I actually didn't care for the first film all that much, because it bored me in parts, especially the rather anti-climactic final sword fight. But as long as you got Jack Sparrow at the helm, I don't think you can go all that wrong with a Pirates movie.
