[PIRATES] Image of Keith Richards

Is Keith in or out of character in this shot?

 

Wasn't this casting idea after the fact?

Partially based on the success of Curse of the Black Pearl (the sequel may not have been made otherwise), and also because Depp said in an interview somewhere that he had mixed in Richards' mannerisms into his Capt. Jack Sparrow character?

Pretty cool either way.

 

I thought they were filmed back to back?

 

WTH? Why so much damn make-up when Keith is a natural pirate? He is unrecognizable.

 

I don't understand why this movie did awesome at the box office... it wasn't that great of a movie, I even fell asleep during both of the movies.
