Whoever watched the Portland-Toronto game, tell me if you saw what I saw. I saw Quitten not get a start, then play lackadaisically. If you watch the highlights, who is always supposed to be defending the guy who hit the big shots for Toronto? It's Mr. All-Defense himself! Look at him underneath the arc of a beautiful (uncontested) three-pointer. Marvel at his ability to let his man beat him on a fast break. Amaze at his smile as he shrugs off each missed shot. Portland might be able to carry him, but if they lose in the playoffs, I'd bet money the fault will lie with Scottie. He couldn't star here so now he's back to cowering under other stars' shadows.
Pippen has always SUCKED at man on man defense. He is at his best when he is roaming the passing lanes. He got torched tonight by Carter, man Carter is SOOOOO special. DaDakota

If we can talk about Tracy Murray in this forum, I don't understand why we can't talk about Pippen. One is a Washington Wizard, and I guess the other wants to be.
I know the depths to which we as fans have sunk. Pippen bashing is now considered Rocket talk. Not that there's anything wrong with hating Pippen, I am just dissapointed that he will be playing in June with that stupid ass grin on his face until they are swept in the conference finals.
playahata, I just hadn't seen any Portland games lately. Watching Pip in cruise control again reminded me of his old Rocket/Bull days. I think he is the world's most overrated player. And I hope I'm proved right come playoff time.
