voted no. he is, without MJ as his teammate, nothing more than a good player Rox fans found out the hard way.
voted yes. Pippen certainly had a hall of famer statistics in Chicago. Although he didn't win many fans in Houston, we can't deny this simple fact.
He is also selected to be one of the 50 greatest NBA players by NBA. There is no way he won't be an HoF
Hall of Famer, yes. He was the only constant other than Jordan on all six Bulls championship teams. Top 50? No way.
Um...buddy I think we got ur point of view the FIRST time u posted.....anyways, I voted yes, because I was born in Chicago, but lived in Houston for most of my child, and early teen years. So I had love for both teams. Pippen's time in Chicago was definately HOF worthy. WIthout Pippen, Jordan would have no Robin to his Batman. Sure once Jordan left Chicago, Pippen fell off because he was used to being the no.1 role-player, and didn't have experience carrying the team. Afterwards he floated around playin with a bunch of guys who were already established as the top 2 scorers on their team (Barkley, Hakeem) then went on to a team full of talent.....and weed........ya can't blame the guy. And now he's just gettin old and tryin to lead the Bulls. Sure he's not doin a very good job but everytime I see a bulls game, I love seeing him outhustle young lazy asses like Eddy Curry to grab a rebound or loose ball.
Your like or dislike has nothing to do with Pippen entering the Hall of Fame, face it, he's going to make it, real easy. Being one of the 50 greatest players of all time, helps his case out a lot. Only little homers fail to see him for what he really is and what he really did, but thats alright, most know the truth. I hate to break it to ya, but numerous people were never Michael Jordan, though Kobe's trying his hardest.
If he would have just retired after the bulls 2nd championship run, he would not only be a first ballot HOFer but would warrant as a top 50 player. He just stuck around too long but i won't hold that against him (like i dont' with hakeem) if i was a voter. Pippen handled the best player on the other team night in and night out. He's arguably the best sidekick ever.
Sure he is. People misread the MJ/Pippen relationship. It was symbiotic. Both benefited from the other ( not to mention the refs). Pipp routinely took the toughest defensive assignment, allowing MJ to expend his energy on offense and in spurts on defense. Pipp was an amazing ball handler for a forward, and also was the player who made doubling MJ pay too much to do it constantly. That's why before Pippen arrived, MJ had the rap of big scorer, can't lead his team to victory.
Easily, the bulls won just 2 less games the year after MJ retired. Pippen was a huge part of the Chicago Bull Dynasty. MJ does not have 6 rings w/o #33. Is Pippen a bad teammate? thats another story. But he was a heck of a player not to long ago
Yes, Pippen is a HOF. He won six championships. Maybe he did that by riding Jordan's tails but he still did it. There is no way that the second most important member of the second longest dynasty in NBA history will not be a HOF. However, I wouldnt feel sorry for Pippen if he doesnt get in the hall because of what he did to the Rox.
pipdady is a geek who wacks off to pippen pictures, and pippen truly does suck, i hope lebron or sombody from and 1 breaks his ankles, and he has to retire oh and by the way i dont care wat yall think and the bulls arent makin the playoffs. HA HA HA HA im done
See, crap like that is whats bringing down this utopia of a site we had. If your gonna post somethin, please TRY to make it intelligent. Also, I doubt anyone wants for you to share the valuable information you have about pipdady doing you know what with his you know what. That's just not necessary.
