I went to Vegas this weekend and so I didn't see the Rockets games this weekend, but I was surprised to see we BARELY beat Chicago. That made me think back to Thursday night in Houston when I was out. I was at the Liquor Lounge and saw Cuttino Mobley and Scottie Pippen out together. As an avid Rocket Fan I did check and saw that Mobley was not drinking alcohol but just water! I guess they're still friends, but it still pissed me off to see Pippen out in our town and Cuttino out before a game! Plus Cat had a pretty bad game and Pippen didn't even play!

They were at the Liquor Lounge? I got here every Tuesday, never been there on a Thursday. Pretty cool place, didn't know they had celebs hanging out there.
Khan, i think its ok to say u saw them, but when u title your thread, 'out before game', it seems like u r questioning their hanging out situation.....are u? if not, u should rename this thread. Its great that u saw Cat. He is one of my favorite players.
It was a Thursday night before a game. We need every game we can win now days. The guy had a rough game. Coincidence? I don't know. I'm just throwing out what I saw. Not questioning their situation, but I am questioning whether our starting Shooting guard should be out partying on the night before a game. We only have 82 games a year. Thats not many days to ask someone not to be out on the town. I know someone might say that "Haven't you gone out on a work night", but I don't get 4 months off a year during my work 'offseason'.
i thought u said he drank water? so which one is it? is he hanging out w/ Pippen, a buddy, and having a good time, or is he partying? come one khan, u cant seriously expect all basketball players to be in their home by 9:00 pm on days before games. Especially in their home city....
I don't know, it's not like the game is at 8 am in the morning. From what we saw on Rome is Burning, Cat takes naps at the condo he and JJax share downtown right before the game too. I'm sure he's plenty rested and all mental preperation is taken care of at the walkthrough before the game.
I don't know but I heard he was caught with some guy named Dennis Rodman, a donkey, three chickens, this thing and a case of KY but that doesn't mean he's gay.
Players go out all the time. If it was a 12 or 1 o'clock game yeah. But how would going out prior to a game that was a night going to effect someone's play, especially since they were drinking? People are reaching.
Who cares if he went out the night before a game. The real worry here is why is he hangin out with Scottie Quitten?
