    Jeff Van Gundy (pupil) vs Pat Riley (mentor)
    Yao vs Shaq
    T-mac vs D-wade.
    Deke vs Alonzo

    Can you think of a better matchup in the finals with more subplots that this one?

    What about Raptor Vs Hawks in the ECF? Man that would be fun to watch.

    2 crappy teams although they shouldn't be that bad.

    The Rockets vs. The Rockets.

    Barring that, The Rockets vs. anybody else.

    Barring that, who cares? I'd probably still watch it, but it wouldn't matter. Unless the Lakers get it, and then I'd root for whoever came out of the East.

    What's in those ChineseTacos you're smoking - errr.. I mean eating? If David Stern wanted the Rox & Heat in the finals he wouldn't have let Cuban call the shots last year and allowed the refs to call that infamous "Out of Bounds" play - Was that the same ref as when the Oilers were playing the Steelers in '79. :eek:

    well the ratings were not as high as the Laker days but...it was great basketball by TWO good teams. Game 7 was remarkable
