No, this is not some dirty act you see in Thailand. With the London Olympics going on, I was wondering what the ClutchFans brethren think of the sport of table tennis.

Being an avid tennis player myself - I, for one, love to play ping pong. It shares many elements of tennis yet it's so different.

Have you played, are you a fan, or think it's a lame sport?

It's fun to play but not a sport.

Jontro, I would love to play you sometime. Are you more of a spin master or all out gunner?

Sport is like obscenity, hard to define but I know it when I see it. Ping pong is a game like golf and bowling that doesn't rise to the level of a sport.

Because it's popular in Asia? Why the hell is ping pong an Olympic event but racquetball isn't?

Because most billards players are a-holes that would cuss on camera and act like general degenerates:

In high school, every day after class I would go to the home of Vietnamese brothers and we would play ping pong for an hour and eat noodles. I got to be pretty good. Continued playing in college and a few years after that until I came to Houston.
