EP hasn't looked very good this season, I really hope he gets better. Boki has his minutes for now, unless he slumps again.

Pike has been a disappointment so far this season. When he is in the game he isnt hitting the wide open 3pt jumpers. That is his specialty, that is what we need from him. If he is not hitting it and helping the offense then he is a liability.

The same could be said for Nachbar. But I like the fact that JVG is giving Nachbar another look. Might as well give it a try and see what happens. Give him some minutes on a CONSISTANT basis and see if he starts to gain some confidence and starts to shoot the ball.

Pike is a great shooter but a bad defensive player. We all know that defensive play is a priority for JVG, and Pike's going to have to step it up if he wants to get more minutes.

Exactly. So if he is not hitting 3pt shots and spreading the floor for Yao, he is useless in the game.

still surprising to see Wilks get 10 minutes as opposed to using Pike for 10 and have Cat or Jax run back-up PG, that way both Pike and Boki could get minutes

nevertheless glad Boki is getting some playing time, he needs it to improve and way Pike is playing it seems appropriate.

You know what you have in Pike. Playing him more minutes won't develop his game. He's a shooter. He's in a slump now, so as Deuce stated, he's useless on the floor. Boki on the other hand is an unknown. JVG needs to see him on the floor to (a) evaluate Boki as a player and (b) to let Boki develop as an NBA player. I think Boki's inconsistent play in the summer league started him off on the bad side of JVG, and he is just now working him in (hopefully).

Considering Boki's lack of minutes this season I thought he looked very good tonight. He was hustling on the defensive end, should have made some impression on JVG. You can tell that he has natural chemistry with Yao. I think they work well together. I hope he continues to get more minutes. I'd like to see Pike's minutes come from backing up Mobley primarily and let JJ and Boki split more minutes at the 3.

I for one am glad to see boki get minutes, he seems to be getting better, tonight he was 2-2 from three, so he seems to have the shot, he just needs the confidece, and he will get that by getting minutes.
