    He probably planned that whole thing. Rupert Murdoch is launching the equivalent of Fox News in the UK this year and I'm sure Piers Morgan will magically announce that he has a prime time slot on the new network. My guess is that he was going to leave GMB anyway so why not stage some faux outrage to further his right wing branding.

    The UK is about to gain two competing right wing channels (one of which is owned by Murdoch) and both will be the first explicitly partisan news networks in the UK. Dark times ahead for the UK.

    From what I gather, when Markle was an actress, and she and others were visiting London, Piers Morgan met with them for drinks and didn't wind up lassoing that a**. She met Prince Ginger and the rest is history. Morgan's wounded ego has never forgiven her.

    The thing is, I always thought Pierce Morgan to be a liberal back in the day, and if I'm not mistaken, not only did he host Larry King Live from time to time but was rewarded with a spin-off show of his own on CNN then just suddenly disappeared? This is just ramblings.
