Hey guys, Just got back from an interesting trip to Japan. Amazing place, technologically and socially speaking. All the politeness and courtesy that I thought was only left for movies, is definitely still intact. Very beautiful sites, and the people are absolutely wonderful. Although, not many of them speak English, and English signage is often hard to come by in many places, it still rocks. So, here are the pictures. As always, if you guys like them, please feel free to share them Japan - June 2006 Blog Japan - June 2006 A few preview shots: Thanks, enjoy!
Nice pics. If I ever get the itch to travel to Asia (which I don't currently have), I think I'd go to Japan. Seems to be the most developed and modern country there by a long shot.
Yeah, man ... they really are up there. It's absolutely amazing walking in the electronics market in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo. I saw a camera lens on sale for $58K, a camera on sale for $210K. An 8-story store dealing just with cameras, and camera related equipment, absolutely insane. The trains are kickass ... esp the bullet trains. Let's say you're facing one way and dont like it, press a lever and the seat rotates to face the other way! And the toilets are the coolest, lol ... press a button, and it'll spray you and you can control the temperature, the water pressure - VERY neat! Thanks for stopping by
