Picture of the 2002 class (without Yao)

I wonder where he got his height from. Was his dad tall? Sr. doesn't look that tall to me. Anyone have stats on sr?

 

SLAM were (still are?) Yao-haters. They were ripping on him before the season, ripping on him worse after his first couple of games (when he didn't do much), and then ate their words when he exploded against LAL/Dal/SAS. Of course, they never took back any of the 'bust' commetns they were making earlier.

How's Jay "Can't Miss" Williams doing these days, guys?

Is it possible that the picture was taken well before Yao came over just weeks before the NBA season started?

Shock horror, but there may be other factors at hand besides SLAM being "haters."

 

Yao was still in China when the picture was taken.

 

i checked the anniversary issue, and it said that da issue with class of 2002 was december '02 and the one with francis/yao was march '03.

 

And, once again, it's possible that "da" picture was taken before October of 2002.

 

To prove that they are not haters, they should have used photoshop to put Yao in that too.

 

Maybe they're just Photoshop haters!
