PG: Paul Dwill (some put Deron William on top but I honestly think he has/had more supporting cast than Paul, yes he dominates paul when they face each other. So does yao vs dwight, but dwight is still considerred by many as a better center overall.) Rondo SG: Kobe DWade Roy SF: Lebron Durant (could be a toss up between durant and carmelo, but I favor Durant.) Carmelo PF: Gasol Dirk Bosh C: Dwight Duncan (Widely considerred a center even though he's PF by name) Yao (I believe he will come through and at least be 80% of his former self. He's been seriously injured in the best, this one shouldn't be too much different. Beside, he had a whole season to rest, and should have plenty of stamina for basketball later on in the season while playing limited minutes early on)
Thanks. I just think Rondo is a better pg than rose NOW. But in the future, it could change. Derrick has more upside, rondo is an elite defender at PG position. I love Rose too, one of my favorite player outside the rockets, but I do believe he has more room to develop into a superstar of paul and dwill's caliber.
PG: Nash Paul Williams SG: Kobe Roy Wade SF: Durant James Anthony PF: Nowitzki Duncan Gasol C: Yao Howard Lopez (Yes, I'm being serious) Note how 4 out of my 15 players are all from the East. The West is so stacked.
PG: 1) Deron Williams. 2) Chris Paul. 3) Steve Nash SG: 1) Kobe Bryant. 2) Dwyane Wade. 3) Brandon Roy. SF: 1) LeBron James. 2) Carmelo Anthony. 3) Kevin Durant PF: 1) Pau Gasol. 2) Tim Duncan. 3) Dirk Nowitzki C: 1) Yao Ming. 2) Dwight Howard. 3) Amare Stoudemire (tallest guy in NY).
PG: Brooks, Lowry, Smith SG: Martin, Budinger, Taylor SF: Battier, Ariza, Morrison PF: Scola, Hayes, Patterson C: Yao, Miller, Anderson
Damn forgot about nash... He's soooo efficient offensively but his defense is just horrible. Still not sure if i'd put him ahead of rondo at this point.
PG 1) Deron Williams 2) Chris Paul 3) Rajon Rondo/Steve Nash/Chauncy Billups/etc (any of these guys are fine) SG 1) Kobe Bryant 2) Dwayne Wade 3) Brandon Roy SF 1) Lebron James 2) Kevin Durant 3) Carmelo Anthony PF 1) Dirk Nowitzki 2/3) Paul Gasol/Tim Duncan/Amare Stoudemire C 1) Yao Ming 2) Dwight Howard 3) Andrew Bogut
Lol be objective, don't you think that you are letting your hate for lebron's actions off the court affect your decision. The man has helped build a team from nothing, made it to the finals, and posted incredible numbers(better than durant in nearly every category) for 7 years, and you rank him below a player who had a great(though not as great as lebron) statistical season and did not make it out of the first round.
You make a valid point. I wasn't really thinking of rose's defense. Right now I would have it the exact same as yours. Rondo is the only reason Boston got where they did. Nash almost did. That's why I put Rondo ahead.
This is correct. I might sub Lopez for Bogut though. Bogut is seriously underrated and he has the 2nd best post game after Yao but Lopez is a beast that's only going to get better.
The Melo v Durant debate is very interesting. I personally put Melo ahead due to how much more well rounded he is (rebounding, passing, I'd even put Melo's defense ahead at this point). Durant's ability to score is pretty special tho. Don't think you can go wrong either way. Maybe 2/3 is fair.
I don't see how anyone could pick Rondo, Rose, or anyone else over Nash. Point guard is the easiest, because it's very clearly CP3, D-Will, and Nash.
Wrong and wrong. Rondo > Nash. SG position is the easiest. Kobe, Wade and Roy are clearly the top 3 SG's in the league.
Great argument, buddy. Not. Rondo is far more limited in every offensive category. And most importantly, he can't shoot. It more than negates any value he adds on defense.
PG: 1.Paul 2.Rondo 3.Nash SG: 1.Kobe 2.Wade 3.Roy SF: 1.LeBron 2.Durant 3.Carmelo PF: 1.Gasol 2.Bosh 3.Dirk C: 1.Yao 2.Dwight 3.Bogut?
PG: Nash Paul Williams SG: Kobe Dwade Brandon Roy SF: Lebron Melo Durant PF: Bosh Gasol Boozer C: Dwight Howard/Yao (tie for first, not sure whos better) Brook Lopez(NBA is depleted at the Center position)
