They're all over the world (not the French, the wackos. ) I think the whole "deck of cards" thing was a publicity stunt more than anything useful to get the bad guys. So I'm not really surprised that someone would do this. This is the only guy??

How do you know, though? I have no doubt the U.S. military had nothing to do with the attacks, but I can't back it up with anything more than patriotic faith. For a lot of people, faith isn't enough proof. Because Bush never allowed investigation into attacks, people are going to speculate. Until these speculations are snuffed out with hard facts and evidence, they'll just grow in intensity and fervor. As we all know, you repeat something long enough, it becomes fact.
come on...because bush didn't turn over every white house document the conclusion is, "the us military probably planned it?" that's ridiculous. you can doubt some things, sure...you may say the white house was negligent...i'd disagree, but at least that's not an entirely goofy argument. but the idea that the military puposely planned and carried this event out is a whole other ball of wax

Of course it is, but when the WH fails to start an independant investigation like has been done for everything from Pearl Harbor to Vietnam to Clinton's use of cigars, people are going to come out of the woodwork with their outrageous conspiracy theories. The point is that an investigation should have been held and still should. But how are we going to prove to the nuts that this wasn't the case? I would think the administration would want ALL of the facts aired for all to see, just like we did for Kennedy, Pearl Harbor, and Watergate. When something as horrible as 9/11 happens, there should be a thorough, public investigation.
andy -- i'm not arguing those points...not at all. but because we don't know does not give someone the warrant to just make crap up. i personally believe aliens carried out the attack to get the attention to janet reno, whom they all find sexually attractive. of course, i have no proof of that...but my book comes out next month, and it should be a bestseller.
