Seen here in the Greenbelt, looks like a blotched snake but has a viper looking head. Very strange. Anyone with good snake knowledge know what this thing is?
http://www.buzzle.com/articles/types-of-snakes-with-pictures.html here is site with pictures of all types of snakes...my guess..Texas indigo snake..
Greenbelt in Kingwood? A neighbor of mine killed a snake that looked just like that in his backyard (right off the greenbelt) a few weeks ago.
I don't know, but I heard that an effective way to kill vipers, especially a red one, is to squeeze its head through the eyes with your thumbs till its head explodes.
I never planned on killing this guy, just wanted to ID him out of curiosity. I also got away from him quickly. That viper looking head really stood out and took me by surprise.
Not a viper looking head. No pits, round pupils instead of slits, no huge blocky head. So definitely not venomous. Could be a banded water snake. Hard to tell from the picture.
hmmmm looks like a Rat or Indigo snake. Either way snakes are bro's they hate vermin so much they kill them!
