3/28/09 Game Thread Phoenix @ Utah -- Big game again, though I doubt the Suns will win since its at Utah.. where the Jazz flop and get calls, and if they play like they did against Portland.. anyways.. Go SUNS! Golden State @ Denver -- Denver coming off a win tonight against Dallas, on a back to back.. Hopefully Golden State can shoot well at Denver, should be a high scoring affair.. Go Warriors, hopefully they wont tank! Memphis @ Portland -- Portland is at home, coming off a win on Thursday against Phoenix and they are at home.. they have struggled against below .500 teams at home lately though, so maybe the Grizz can pull this one out.. Go Grizzlies!
I see all the home teams winning. GSW has a chance since the play nellieball and all and they get Denver on a b2b...unless they played tonight.
Agree with Jay and A_3P0 for the most part. For some reason, I think the Suns may find a way to make it competitive. Shaq has been incredible recently. If the Suns shockingly do win, it won't be because of their defense. Both teams will score in the 100s with the Jazz coming out on top. When is Barbosa due back?
Portland will hammer the Grizzlies. I thought the Warriors might make a game of it in Enver, but I can't see them winning without Captain Jack. He gives that team so much of its swagger. With him, the Warriors could get on a major run and exude confidence as they runned and gunned. They're going to tank pretty hard now. This will be a blowout. I expect Utah to manhandle the Suns in a very high scoring game (135-103?), but the Suns could pull the upset here. All of that running might take Utah out of its half court sets, but I consider it pretty unlikely. Phoenix's playoff hopes die with a loss tonight, so hopefully they bring some extra energy and Shaq continues his solid play.
That was "Blame Tracy" (Space). BlameTracy (no space) is the flowchart\comicbook guy. Didn't Blame Tracy get banned?
Dude, my bad. I usually auto-pilot gloss over sigs. I like the new handle a lot better. Thanks again for starting these up each day.
The Warriors at least showed up, maybe they'll make it a game. Enver played last night and hopefully they run out of gas. It's early, but I still have some hope. The Rockets are cruising, and it'd be nice if we get some extra help from some other team. The Suns look like they're going to get crushed.
i don't understand how the suns get away with playing matt barnes at power forward...that's a major liability right there.
They certainly turned it around quickly. Only down 4 with Steve Nash 1-6. The Suns could definitely take this one. I knew it was too good to be true. Enver led after the first despite trailing by 13 at one point. Warriors=lame.
looks like suns gonna get blown out, and u can never count on GS to win u a game. at least the rockets are doing well, cuz they arent gonna get help from another team.
