Ahh, not what you think, but it could be.

US released 5 'altered' photos of what Saddam could look like and gave them to the troops.

Honestly, they did a HORRIBLE job. Anyone on this board with half the skills of a 6 year old could do a better job.

Troops get altered photos of Saddam

U.S. military officials released digitally altered photographs picturing former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in various possible disguises Friday as an audiotape believed to have been recorded by Saddam urged supporters to continue their uprising against the U.S. occupation.
THE MESSAGE, the sixth such tape purporting to come from Saddam since the fall of Baghdad 3½ months ago, was a rambling discourse, apparently intended to encourage and instruct his supporters in the continuing guerrilla war against the U.S. occupation.

U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News that a CIA analysis indicated a "high likelihood" that the voice on the tape was that of Saddam, who said he was speaking Sunday.

"The feeling of defeat and bitterness might lead some people to commit treason ... instead of being a gun pointed at the enemy," said the man, who sounded like Saddam. "I ask people to keep the properties of the country and the party until the situation changes or to donate their value to the glorious resistance."

    TAPED CALL TO BATTLE
The tape was broadcast Friday by the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera satellite television station. The most recent previous message purporting to come from Saddam was broadcast Tuesday by al-Arabiya, a second Arab satellite broadcaster. That tape, which the CIA said most likely was authentic, acknowledges the death of two of Saddam's sons, Odai and Qusai.

In Friday's tape, the man purporting to be Saddam had clearly moved beyond mourning for his once-feared and brutal sons and issued a call to battle.

"Our faith is great that God will support us and that one day the occupation army will falter and that victory is possible at any moment. We must not let things slip away and our situation become desperate," the voice said.

"The balance has shifted after the military confrontations [with insurgents], and this has not changed. They [the Americans] will not be able to stop this.

"I say that this shift in balance has happened because of the great mujahedeen and faithful fighters who have worked and struggled to confront the occupation and throw the invaders outside Iraq so that Iraq can return to its normal state."

U.S. officials had reported in the past several days that U.S. forces twice were close to capturing Saddam, once in the raid in which his sons were killed July 22 in the northern city of Mosul and again in a raid on a farmhouse near Tikrit where the military was seeking Saddam's new chief of security.

The military in Baghdad seemed to back away Thursday from optimistic reports that Saddam's capture was imminent, however, saying instead that it was inevitable.

    SADDAM IN DISGUISE?
As the hunt for Saddam entered its fourth month, U.S. military officials began distributing altered photographs to U.S. forces to illustrate what Saddam might look like in disguise.

U.S. Central Command posted the photographs Friday on the Pentagon Web site. The five photographs show what Saddam might look like with a beard; without any facial hair, including his trademark mustache; and with a full set of gray hair.

The Pentagon has offered a $25 million reward for Saddam's capture. Thursday, Secretary of State Colin Powell approved paying two $15 million rewards to the tipster who supplied the crucial information that led U.S. troops to his sons.

The payment is the largest ever made under the reward program.

I saw that earlier. Seems a bit silly. As if no one would recognize the guy if he had a turbin and a beard? Uh....ok.

I'm sure our photoshop experts would do a much better job. God knows they've have plenty of practice...

    BTW, where are Saddam live?
