I think this is a good time for me to post some real, none photoshop photos about Shanghai since I seen many people making threads about the city itself, not only that, I think it also benefit everyone of us to know more about the cities around the world, and it's also fun to see the real pictures about other city instead of those on Google.

Personally, I really enjoy it when other member posting pictures about another country or another city, so if someone has some to share with us, it would be great.

    Please excuse my English, PLEASE...............

    Nice photos of Dubai.

Frankly, I wish Shanghai slowed down a bit and let other part of China have time and resouce to catch up. Too much imbalance and development gap are problematic for the country in both short and long run.

Shanghai strikes me as your typical ultra-modern metropolis...just judging by those pictures (which are beautiful, by the way) it looks like another Hong Kong or NYC or Tokyo, sort of your typical 'capitalism mecca'. To me, it embodies China's super-rapid ascendancy into an economic superpower, which is reflected by how fast that city itself is changing.

Obviously, much of the same would apply to Dubai; there's a shared 'theme' there...

WTF are you talking about?

Just kidding, but anyway, I really like your grammar and English.

Shanghai is not the only city that's transforming into another city like HK or NY, there're many cities in the coastal area of China that are booming like crazy such as Shenzheng, Guangzhou, and etc. All of these cities are couple hours away from HK and Macau.

    More photos coming soon.........................

I understand, these ultra-modern cities are popping up all over the world. It's a sign of the times...

I could post more, like the beautiful maple trees in Bellaire that connect with each other across each street, making you feel like you are driving through a natural arch, etc.

I love my city. No offense to Shanghai. That place looks damn fine.

J/K I loved it. But it was a tad dreary all the time, don'tcha think?

Hong Kong, Pearl of the Orient.

I remember the building on the far right (Jardine House?) was once the tallest in Asia. Now it is drawfed by many new ones.

Biggest suicide city in the world.

As a newly introduced member of the "young love club", I wouldn't suggest this. :p

Blah. Go to my myspace account and you will (horrifically) learn when my "first love" was. (I just put the song on there because I'm feeling nostalgiac. Ironically enough, we met in Seattle! (Dun dun dun!))

While I think both you and D are grounded well, and very well beat the odds, the fact is, most people your age don't, and I'd rather see you swinging on a vine than hanging from a tree.

I love both of y'all. Moe is the best writer for his age I've ever seen, and I've told him that. You are sweet as sugar. I wish all the best.

Unfortunately, I'm also a statistical man. Don't fault me for it. :p ;)

Thanks. I'll be there with bells on.

BTW, you have to admit that my site's song is an awesome love song, even if it was made in the 80's.

(Or did you listen to it.) (frowny face)

Just to let you guys know, traveling is one of my favorite things to do, because every country, or even every cities has their own unique culture, and style of living, so it's truly a great experience that you can actually be part of it, and feels what it's like.

You haven't been here long enough. I've loved and lost multiple times.

But, that is what makes me a Fatty FatBastard.

(btw, my friends all call me "poopy" because It's the nicest way they could come up with "*******" To be fair, I'd prefer *******. Too many women don't get it and think it's a fart joke. Check my comments. Every girl calls me "poopy")
