I think that whether they use a concrete or asphalt court, or a hardwood one, they need to have the fixed double rim. http://www.ktar.com/sports/?nid=21&sid=713266
ever since the outdoor hockey game, i wondered if the nba would get around to doing this. good to hear.
I remember when I was a kid watching the Rockets on UPN and Bill Worrell said, "Catch our next game on the road." I took it literally and expected them to play outside on concrete. I was so devastated
Maybe one day most arenas will have retractable roofs like Reliant Stadium. How awesome would that be! It would be interesting to watch players deal with the wind factor or the sun in your eyes. Too bad we'll probably have to wait till at least 2030 until something like this happens.
maybe the rockets should just build an outdoor basketball arena so that tmac wont complain about the depth perception.. oh nvm, he's gonna complain about the weather.. lol
Can you imagine what McGrady would come up with as far excuses go? "uuuh, yeah, the barometric pressure is really affecting my shot. not just me but every guy in the league has said something privately about it." "El Nino is really hurting my free throws."
Play an exhibition or preseason game at Rucker. Charge $200 a head and televise it nationally. You can only fit so many out there, but it would be worth it. Suns-Lakers. Get the regular Rucker guys to call the game. Evan
Oh, that is funny! When it comes to the Rockets, how about setting their shorts on fire. Bet they get motivated to hit those freebies.
