Texedelphia hands down. Philly Connection is overrated and their cheesesteaks are overpriced and small as hell.

    I second Jake's.

Texadelphia is weak and Philly Connection is a bad chain.

Pat's and Genos are really overrated and and are like the McDonalds of cheesesteaks. Way too much gristle, and keep that white trash cheese whiz away from me. Provolone only.

Texadelphia is pretty crappy. I'd say Jakes or that newish place downtown, whicn I believe is as San Jac and Prarie. Firehouse Pete's or something like that.

My wife loves Texadelphia (UT grad) but to me it's not a real Philly.
I like the Philly Connection for the taste but they are a bit pricey.
    Have yet to try Jakes.

i agree that pat's and geno's are overrated. however, i always liked texadelphia cheesesteaks from the location on the drag in austin. the other locations don't quite taste the same for some reason. the only other cheesesteak mentioned that i have tried is delaware subs and it is the best one i've had.

I like them both, but it's not like I eat them all the time. The best cheesesteak I've ever had, surprisingly, was at some food court place in Gurnee Mills in Illinois. The Delaware Subs recommendations are spot-on too.

Texadelphia is ok, but it's not as good in Dallas as it is in Houston for some reason...

Given that my options are limited, I choose Texadelphia for there $1 bud light...

Is there more than one location, or is the only location near 34th and Lamar? I've never noticed that place until you mentioned it on here, then the next day, BAM! I see it.

Texadelphia ain't bad, but I haven't tried anywhere else really....
