Phil Collins & Genesis return to the stage after "retirement". I am Phil's big fan and will go to see his show. He is just the best singer!
I've been waiting for this moment for all my life Now if Peter Gabriel put on a flower costume and came on to sing 20 minutes of unintelligible political diatribe, then you'd have something. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jZ2Gpu1Z8Ug"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jZ2Gpu1Z8Ug" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I love me some Genesis especially Phil style. People like to say that he (Phil) ruined them but I challenge anyone out there to try to play some of the songs off "Duke" especially "Turn It On Again" with all of its weird time signature changes. They were special in that they knew how to write a catchy pop song but still have superior musicianship to go with it. That's why you don't see many Genesis cover bands - their songs aren't that easy to play, people.
Definitely true. Just looking out for ya; I've been nearly burned, crushed, crashed, smashed, impaled, drowned, drank, drugged, and hurled into the afterlife; but damn, being bored to death sounds like a bad way to go.
Ever since they started playing that song for the commercials for Vice City Stories, it's jumped up my playlist. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/npoGEM1BbrY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/npoGEM1BbrY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
