Austin Rivers in the starting rotation, considering his exp on playoff like teams, you look at the player in LA, he was a bonfied starter, and played great in alot of games. Thread Worthy? O̶r̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶H̶a̶r̶d̶e̶n̶ = Do ya move Harden there from SG. =d
So im guessing we are hoping for the lesser Lou Williams possibly in this pickup. 8.5 ppg 3-5 apg off the bench.
tbh he can play the 1-3. in a full lineup with paul, he's probably the starting 3 so ego can resume the 6th man role. without paul i expect MDA, as he always does, to go with his best 5 with some cross-matching from O to D like this: Offense: pg- harden sg-ego sf-austin Defense: pg-austin sg-ego sf-harden of course we end up switching everything anyway but that's how the sets will start. just my guess.
Harden is the point guard on our team, period. Whoever else that is out there is there to take pressure off him and give him proper rest throughout the game. Austin Rivers will be a bench player for us and I see no way he starts for us unless Harden gets hurt.
I think that would be a realistic goal along with decent defense. If he can help to hold the fort until the end of the season, he will have done a good job.
There is a system? I thought it was spam pick and rolls and isos? What else does he have to learn in this "system"?
I admit it's not much more than that, but he can get good minutes off the bench until he is ready to start.
There is a system. He is already learning on day 1 — you don’t practice your shots from inside the 3pt line.
