I didn't catch it. The line in the box score looks pretty bad for Tierre. 23 minutes 1 assist 1 TO 3-6 4 reb. What's the real story?
Tito is something of an improvement: 25 minutes 3-5, 3-3FT 6 assist 4 TO 2 ST 3 REB. How much *movement* offense and how much ISO offense did we run?

I was impressed with Maddux ,as a pure point guard much more than Brown, who seems to look to score first and pass the ball second.
    Maddux:- 3/5 60% shooting, 3/3 F/T 100%.6 assists
2 steals, 4T/O,3P/F. 9pts in 25mins. Brown should also make the cut.

I'm starting to think neither is the answer. How expensive could it be to bring in a veteran point guard to spell Steve? Are there any free agent veteran pg's still out there...preferrably that look to distribute but can play some defense too?

People I'd be interested in (if they're available):

    Mookie Blaylock
    Mark Jackson
    Greg Anthony

or anyone else of that caliber/vintage.

Tierre Brown has that stupid behind the back dribble that he always does. That YMCA league crap. I use to do that stuff because I hated it when a player forced me to use my left. When a player played my right side, instead of switiching the ball to the left and dribbling to the left, I'd try to blow by him and make him pay by wrapping the ball around my back. That suburban league stuff worked at the Y but it won't work against the pros.

Tito looked good though. He's not flashy but he's stable. He allowed his teamtes to get set. Everytime down the court he seems to be looking for the right teamate to pass to and not the best position for him to score from. I liked that.
