Chicago is lookin to trade Tyson Chandler and Eddy curry. I was wondering if we could get chandler or both.

    it could go like this:
Houston trades: SG Bostjan Nachbar (4.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 0.7 apg in 16.7 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (9.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.0 apg in 27.8 minutes)

Houston receives: C Eddy Curry (10.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.0 apg in 28.8 minutes)
PF Tyson Chandler (7.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.8 minutes)

Change in team outlook: +4.0 ppg, +6.7 rpg, and -1.1 apg.

or just straight J. howard and picks for Tyson chandler.

Also i heard Chicago wants to deal with Denver for nene.
Denver wants to trade nene!!!!!! Please CD make something happen so we could get nene.

I'd do Howard for Chandler, but I would hesitate over throwing in picks. It sounds like Chandler's weak as water and has bad hands. While I thought he would be ideal at the PF spot since we don't need much offense from there, I'm beginning to wonder now since it doesn't sound like he's that effective at defending one-on-one.

No way either of these situations happen:
    1) Bulls give up Eddy Curry for that
    2) Eddy Curry fits in on the Rockets and makes a positive contribution

Simply put: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! He is a bum, bust, loser or any combination of those three words.

However, I am a big fan of Chandler's game and I feel he could possibly be the answer at PF. He is only 22, so he should continue to develop. We already know he is one hell of a rebounder and shotblocker as is, so it will be interesting to see if he improves in other areas. He has good career shooting averages.

Only problems I see is he's not a very intelligent player (we all know these type of players have basically been a trademark of the Rockets of the past few years). And we could lose him to free agency after next season.

Ludicrous. No way Chicago would do that.

I just wish we have a little varity in our PFs. Someone like Mikki Moore would be cheap and nice--long, athletic defender and can knock down outside shots.

Too bad we haven't got many steals in trades or free agency (except the pingpong balls;) ).

Tyson chandler is making less money than J.howard or mo taylor so he will be cheap for us. if we give J.howard, who will be FA in a year or two, and picks im sure they would consider the trade.
Chandler has what we need Rebounding skills and Shotblocking all he needs is some good teammates around him. he could be like elton brand but little offense but better than cato's

We need rebounding at the 4, toughness, and a little shooting range. That's Kurt Thomas. Maybe we can three-way a deal with New York when they trade with Chicago later this year.

Whenever that deal goes down, that's when we can pick up a spare part. Howard is a possibility with Chicago, maybe ship him with Boki and JJ. Or we could swap Taylor + contracts for AD as a sweetener to make something shake loose with Chandler. It's be nice if we could pick up Duhon, too.

I've been thinking the same thing. Moore is essentially the same player as Chandler, just without the hype. I think Chandler is a little better, but Moore would certainly help. Would be nice if the Rockets could swing a deal at the deadline for Moore & Jaric.
