If you were putting together a team from scratch, which of these two Quarterbacks would you choose to lead your team? I'd have to go with Manning...
Tom Brady, last year's superbowl was not a blow out and that's with no help frojm the qb position from chicago. Brady is showing you right now what his career would be like with a top flight wr. The main difference in their games is that brady can handle pressure. you get to manning, you stop their offense. manning is no doubt and excellent qb who will probably put most records out of reach. but if i need to win a big game and i'm going up against a fierce pass rush, i'm taking brady.
Manning no doubt. Brady is a great competitor and an awesome QB, but I don't think he is quite on Manning's level.
To me peyton manning = Tim Duncan. They would both would have been no. 1 picks f they had come out early. Both great players, but people always knock them for something. Manning vs Brady: Brady has the intangibles, but manning is bigger and stronger at least in the arm strength category. He has also proven to be very durable even though he got pummeled early in his career. He has also proved take adversity and not fold unlike david carr.
The Cougar in me says Kevin Kolb.. but since this is about Manning v Brady I'm gonna go with Manning. I like how Manning controls his offense.
he did have film of the other teams signals and better defenses than Manning had until last year Rocket River
Weird that you brought this up...I had the exact conversation with a buddy of mine lastnight. I'd go with Manning, the guy maybe the most polished QB of all time.
you cant prove that. brady has never had any great receivers OR running backs. manning has had both. it would be crazy not to take brady. a bad defense doesnt make you suck in playoff games. manning didnt even do that great in last year's playoffs. look at the numbers: 3 TD's, 7 ints, 70.5 passer rating.

They did not get a 1st down and they had to try a super long field goal. . .. which they missed Nope .. IMO . . . Tom Brady has always been considered an great even with extremely crappy recievers around him. Now I dont know if Peyton could do the same thing because i've only seen him with 2 pro-bowl recievers. And one thing I like more about Brady is that he never blames his teamates like Manning has done on several occasions. They are both great, but I would take Brady in a heartbeat.
Tom Brady. He is cool at all times. He sees 8 in the box and he puffs a cigarette, thinks "damn I am sexy", orders a pizza, and then delivers a first down with ease all while doing his hair. Manning sees a base 3-4, immediately creams himself and starts barking like a dog. Antics or not, shut the hell up and play football. Stop prancing around like a horse with a gerbil up its ass in the pocket. QBs need to play cool, calm, and sexy. Thats why Shuab sucks. He is too ugly to play QB at this level.
