You have possibly the best offensive coach that already told you he has plans for you and significant minutes/role on a mid-tier playoff team. The Rockets and your teammates really need you. Dmo has shown to be a good teammate and loyal to the organization, along with a fan favorite. You've signed a bunch of players with injury riddled histories (Anderson, Gordon, Nene) and if one or more goes down, the leverage we have with Dmo will be much less. If you believe in Dmo the talent and he is of decent health, give him the benefit of the doubt and offer a fair contract; even if it cuts down on "flexibility". Flexibility and cap space means nothing if your team is mediocre and have bad chemistry. Instead of criticizing both sides for dragging their feet, I thought we as fans could encourage both parties to get'er done!
