Pete Carroll and the NFL

    All great college coach's entertain the NFL. This time might prove to be different. There is a serious NCAA investigation underway and according to the reports it's gonna make OU Big Red Sport look like some minor Ball St. infraction.

    I'd guess the main reason he'd consider it is the money. Also to prove he can coach at the NFL level. As much as the Falcons job seems terrible today, things can change pretty quick in the NFL. Eli wouldn't play for the Chargers when he was drafted 4 years ago, and the chargers have won 46 regular season games in the last 4 years. He might also want to distance himself from the Trojans before they finally go down for all of the Reggie Bush era cheating. Nowhere to go but up for the Falcons. Nowhere to go but down for the Trojans. Plus, he wouldn't have to live in LA any more, and pay LA cost of living. That said, he's probably not going to take the ATL job.
