man this happens to me almost daily I cant stand when people are standing in the lobby waiting for an elevator right in front of the call buttons. Like they are waiting to go up and I want to go down but they are right in front of the call buttons and wont move out of the way to let me press the down button when i say excuse me. then they get all upset when i force my way in to just press the down button even though they wouldnt move out of the way for a second when i had just asked them. also dislike it when people crowd the floor buttons on the inside. usually the person standing there will ask what floor and push the button for me out of courtesy which is nice. every once in a while i'll get someone who wont and then gets all upset when I ask them if they can press floor 'x' for me.

I always feel bad when I try to step out, and some poor fellow, whose time must be more important than mine, attempts to enter immediately following the opening sequence. I really need to remember to stand in the back corner and wait for everyone to enter before even thinking about exiting the 'vator.
i wish there were stairs but there are no stairs to our parking garage its really annoying since my company is on the first floor so i literally have to just go up one floor (i park on the top floor of the underground garage) but still need to use an elevator
geez, people need to learn elevator etiquette. people who are in the elevator exit the elevator first then people who are waiting for elevator enters. it's common courtesy.
I hate that. I can't believe how many people try to get on the elevator before everyone is off. Happens here every morning.
Couldn't agree more!! That drives me insane when I'm trying to get off and someone just can't wait to get on....one day it's going to cost me, but I usually make a comment to try and make it clear what they did...who knows if they ever hear me. The other thing that drives me crazy is when you were there waiting first, then someone comes along and when the doors open and everyone has exited, they go in before you....ummmm.....wait your turn! Pugs
i hate when people take the elevator to go up or down one floor. usually they enter with their two bean burritos and large coke.
In our r****ded buidling. At least once a day (and most times, more than that), our elevator will stop on the 14th floor. 9 times out of 10, there is no one there. Then, there are the Bechtel assholes. They all go to lunch at 11, so it's impossible to get an elevator. As they're walking through the lobby, they walk 10 in a row making it impossible to walk by them the other way unless you hug up against the wall. One of these days I'm going to lower my shoulder into one of them.
Oh yes, I love the people who insist on walking side-by-side (at a snails pace, mind you) in the skywalk not moving for anyone in front or behind them. I never move when they come towards me. Inevitably, one of them will have to break from the pack to get out of my way. They look so annoyed that I actually want to stand my ground and not step to the side so they can all pass. I love that. ima_drummer2k, corporate bad-boy.
I hate that too, unless you have a disability or something else which hinders you from using the stairs then take the damn things.
