Whats wrong with everybody, why is everyone so damn negative. Personally, im pretty damn excited about this yr. Also, i think kenny thomas needs to be resigned. He is exactly what the rockets need in there STARTING small forward. Defence, rebounding, and hustle points. Then the can bring in rice, and eventually hopefully nachbar to be shooters. Francis, Mobley, and Griffen are already shouldering the scoring burden so it works out great. Also, i think yao needs more like 15 - 20 min. a game untill the all star break, then he should get more or less time based on his performance. Everbody needs to just stay positive though and keep supporting the rockets
Sounds like you put up a Christmas list early. We all hope that everything you say comes true, but I guess we have to give it time... We can all wish upon a star.
Actually, I thought the Sun/Rox game was a good one. It was a game that could have gone either way... Francis shared the ball...and they concentrated on defense. It's easy to say, "What defense?" If we would have won, most would be singing a different tune. Plus, it's not how many assists a team/player gets. It's HOW they get the assists. And this last game has some really good plays for assists! Good teamwork assists!
Im not a fair weather fan or bandwagoner, Im a Rockets die hard even while they sucked, even while we were down 3-1 to phoenix all those years ago and every one was jumping OFF the bandwagon, but I still say KT needs to go and go fast. I wanted in the off season and I wanted it now. KT is not a small foward, he's a short PF. He's a great hustle blue collar player but he just doesn't fit our system. Defensively other small foward just goes by him and offensively, well, he doesn't move well without the ball and doesn't know how to score with out doing that twist move of his. What we need in a small foward is a shooter or slasher or just some that can get off a quick shot in the post to compliment Steve and Mobes or just pretty much team game. Not some one that needs to be another focal point of the offense.
