It's not a website, but you can create your own Yahoo Group to do what you want at groups.yahoo.com.

Your ISP, work, or UNIVERSITY should have some 10mb or maybe 2 mb space for you to post pictures of your family vacations, etc.

    Who is your ISP?

Mine is SBCglobal, and I haven't looked this up, yet. Maybe I should?

I help run a camp for kids with special needs and I created a web site using Geocities. It is really easy to use -- easy to upload picture etc..... and it's free.

take a look at my site (it's not real fancy but it works). Let me know if you need help getting started

you might need to plunk down a little bit of money for some webspace that supports PHP, then get this! Coppermine Photo Gallery - you can have users add photos, comments, etc... very cool.

I second this one. I made one years ago for old friends to keep in touch before I moved on to php.

My dad made one for his 40th high school reunion. It's was very successful.

.itisnotfree? .Else .explain (Or, see http://www.mac.com/1/mac_faq.html )

www.tripod.com <- ad-supported... check out My Page at TRIPOD
www.geocities.com <- ad-supported. check out My Page at GEOCITIES

I wrote "BLAH." on both, and look at how much MORE they each add to my "BLAH." page.

If you're NOT concerned with banners on top, left, right, and below your page, this is the easiest way.

Again, your ISP or University or even High School (I think) can provide some web space, as long as you're not doing it for profit.

www.myspace.com is a good personal site where you can post a limited amount of pics and have loads of personal info, blogs, etc.

www.flickr.com is a good picture hosting site.

blogger.com is nice, too. You don't have to make it into a daily journal, but just update it when you feel like it.
