Free agent next year... Would look extremely good next to Scola... He is from Texas by the way.
ACL tears are one of the few knee injuries where you can make a 100% recovery from provided you rehab properly so I'm not surprised. You do your do diligence and be responsible with rehab and it'll feel like nothing happened.
lol, tell me youve had ACL surgery and I'll take this statement seriously(i honestly will). BUT, i know waaay too many people including my brother(who did his rehab religiously and is only 25) that have had the surgery and all of them complain about chronic knee pain. All of them..
I've had more than ACL surgery. In addition to an ACL tear I had a portion of my knee fracture and the consequent fracture ripped off a ton of cartilage off my meniscus. I understand the complaints of chronic knee pain. I felt it for a long time but 3 years later I honestly can say I jog again with some regularity (honestly its more to do with the fact that I'm lazy than my knee) and I play basketball with some regularity as well. I definitely am slower when I play but I get along ok and it gets better as I play. But in terms of an ACL, if it is injured cleanly you absolutely can make a 100% recovery. Now if there's anything else damaged then its a different story, not to mention bodies recover differently. I'm not saying everyone will recover 100% but an ACL tear is absolutely something that one CAN recover from totally. ACL surgery involves literally implanting a ligament to replace the torn one and generally with some solid rehab you recover. Again it depends on how cleanly the injury happens but in no way am I suggesting that everyone will recover the same way.
IMO, Boston is the favorite in the East if Perkins gets up to 100%. The Heat would be the only team with a real chance to beat them in a 7-game series. It could be an epic match. Probably better than the Finals. The Celts just have to hope KG is healthy the entire season.
