    Morris Petterson

I really believe we'll end up with D. Stoudmire as our starting PG, and I heard that the Rockets are shopping Sura and Wesley, even James is 50/50. we need a big 2-guard to compliant Damon and I think Morris Peterson would be a perfect fit for this team with Bonzi Wells as plan B. Mo has good size & athletism, can shoot the 3s and play decent D. With Alvin Williams' uncertain health (out entire season) they might be interest in a solid backcourt help in Mike James. I think James+filler for Peterson+filler might be a good trade for both teams? maybe James+Wesley for Peterson+Murray or James+Sura for Peterson+Aaron Williams? I'd throw in a future draft pick consideration if needed. We then sign Swift or Marshall with our MLE; trade either Wesley or Sura+T.E. for a S&T Stoudmire for abour $3M/yr. re-sign Deke & Barry, we'd be set.

    Yao Ming, Mutombo
    Marshall?, Howard
    McGrady, Murray?
    Peterson, Barry
    Stoudmire, Head, Norris, Ward

I think this is better than the Mavs and will compete with the Suns for the 2nd best team in the West. if they lost Marion as rumored we'd be 2nd only to the Spurs!

Funny that you should bring up Morris Peterson. I was touting him a bit a few months ago as an excellant 2 guard for this team. He has a nice 3pt shot, good role player and excellant defender. Plus he is 6'8" so he can play the 2 and the 3. I would love for us to get him, but I doubt we could swing it.

    :p

he's listed at 6'7" and I think he is better suited as a 2 guard than SF because of his perimeter game and lacks of rebounding ability. does he has any attitude problems? anyone knows?

btw, now we signed Swift :) 1 down 2 to go, let's get Stoudmire & Peterson!

The perfect shotting guard for this team right now is Bobby Sura.

I agree that Mo Pete is the ideal shooting guard for this team: long, athletic, can play either swing position, good perimeter defender, and can shoot the three. However, I don't see Toronto dealing with us unless it's to dump Jalen Rose or Rafer Alston, both of whom I'd rather avoid.
