Damn...I knew that "we'll let you know" wasn't a good sign...That b*stard must have brought cookies to his interview or something... I thought the job had to be posted for at least 10 days before hiring somebody??
they didn't even give me the courtesy of telling me they filled the position. i'm glad i didn't send a thank you card.
Given the high level and time sensitivity of the position, Gates has the discretion to waive the 10 days if he feels it would be detrimental to the operation of the university.
