Does anybody else notice their error on the NL rookie of the year comments? Judging by that, I think they meant to put Ryan Braun 1 and Hunter 2.
No, it looks like they're saying that's how it is right now (Pence at 1), but it'll probably flip-flop (in their minds) if things continue by the end of the season. Sadly, it's looking true as Braun just continues to tear the cover off the ball..
I am so sick of the long ball. Hunter leads in almost every other catagory and in some of them no one is even close to him. yet , Braun is going to win the ROY because of the HRs.... completely ridiculous.

Everytime I hear Braun I think of that Seinfeld episode with Lloyd Braun, who always would sell more computers than George. I hope Pence doesn't play the role of George in this story.
Braun is at a far superior pace in every category. He's almost even in runs and RBIs despite 100 fewer at bats. If they both continue at the current pace, Braun's numbers will be better across the board. What other categories are you referring to exactly that no one is even close to Hunter in?
It also doesn't hurt that Braun is helping his team win a division. Sucks....but at the end of the season, Braun may be more deserving.
it's not Pence's problem his teammates aren't pulling their weight. teams don't rely on rookies to win.
This is so true. But my point was that if they are close to both being a choice for ROY...it think it would help one player if he played on a division winner. I could be 100% wrong, I'm just going with human nature.
