I love me some JUJU Randle! Playing his best basketball of his career not to mention his youth. His swiss army knife effect is a rare asset to find.

Mirotics outside shooting would flourish even more with the rockets, perfect fit.

Moores overall defensive game would be a nice addition not to mention his upgraded offensive game, I like also.

    What do y’all think?

    Morey, go get em!

The part that they didn’t mention is that they were trying to move them for picks as part of a larger all in deal to get a guy that will help them keep ad. At least that’s what Zach said.

I’m pretty sure he also said he doesn’t know if they’re on the table now but someone correct me if I’m wrong

Mirotic being a more athletic Ryan Anderson (who hasn’t yet proven his ability to choke in the playoffs) stands to be a great fit next to Harden and a murderer of any team we match up against in the first two rounds. Against GSW though I’m afraid he might be just as useless as Ryno was. GSW isn’t getting beat by specialists. If we’re gonna switch everything, we need lateral quickness at every position except Harden who we play in the post.

For that reason I’d be much more enthusiastic about Randle. I know we have Faried now, but Randle does everything he does but better. He’s bigger and a better rebounder and paint finisher right now. He can harass the hell out of a front line like GSW’s. Draymond would be put notice: a bigger man is coming for his paycheck.

Randle can give us fresh legs, keep us athletic in the paint, sets us up better for the future.

A big who shoots 3s doesn't work well for us, IMO, and we need more defense, not offense.

Due Dilligence on Mirotic (formerly known by me as Neurotic). Rockets have tried a few times in the past.

    Picks/Filler is a rambling...

Not what I see as Morey's final move...but it's been there since last year and his trade out of Chi from the Portis Punch

Almost no one is mentioning Houston as a viable option on AD. It doesn't even sound like Morey is putting together an offer, which surprises me. If only because he's always in the mix. I'm curious to see who his targets are as the deadline approaches.

@Codman would you trade 2-3 1sts for Jaylen Brown? I see him in your sig and I've mentioned this in a previous thread before but I would take a flyer on him if Ainge wants picks back.

These are all decent points on Randle, but doesn't he suck on defense? That seems to be a theme among Pels fans. Is that true?

no we dont have anything to offer that'd attract the Pelicans to trade any of these 3 players.

    '

Ears tell me that Morey has reached out with BeanDip, esp. for JaBrown, a look at "Daddy", Terry R and Twin.

But, this all changes if Danny goes all in and trades his depths for the Brow.

It also changes if LeBeeyotch trades all his youth for the Brow.

I'm trying to be as transparent as possible, but there is a lot going on. I'm getting most of my info from players, their "crew" and agents I've known since days with ThunderDan.

    Melo wasn't the last deal.

Your untouchables at this point: James, Clint, CP and Tuck. That's it.

Also, rumors of trading Chriss for McHale's clapping hands. ;)

Here's the thing I don't quite get. Boston needs to wait until the summer for an AD trade.

BUT, but then Terry Rozier (RFA) and Marcus Morris (UFA) can't really be used in AD trades. It makes me wonder if Ainge might want to flip them for "usable parts" to possibly include in an AD trade. Am I missing anything here?

I can't see Ainge moving Jaylen Brown. He either is a centerpiece of an AD trade OR is someone they want to keep if Tatum gets moved.

Yes. But I have issues giving up Gordon. He's the CLUTCH we need in the playoffs.

....But if you can get Riley to give up Ellington (who wants out) for a pick and expiring....

Memphis is going to be heavily dealing. Unless something drastic happens, the guys are speaking in past tense about their legacy in Memphis. Warmly Welcome Jay Green? :)

Morey may not need a home run, but he needs a couple of killers who can shoot. Ennis hasn't worked out.

Again, the wildcard that I hear because of rebuilding is: Many Many Picks, Filler, Expiring, Expiring for Beal. Wash will get plenty of offers

I don't know the salary implications. I'm just close with one of Jaylen's people. He doesn't like the bench. He wants out of Boston because he knows Kyrie and as of now, Daddy, are the future.

Marcus Morris and Twin both are expendable.

Ainge wants to pair Kyrie with a superstar. Horford is aging.
