I've read that online ordering is a highly inefficient use of gas from store/warehouse to home. I wonder if there's a largescale study on how wasteful it is or if shipping companies have made the numbers work to make it more efficient compared to a person driving around market and big box stores and getting everything at once. Then again, it's like choosing the biggest loser.
