    Need y'alls help/opinions.....

I have a friend in the market for a PDA.

I know nothing about them. I am still an old school Daytimer paper and ink vintage relic.

Which ones do you use? Which ones to you recommend/recommend avoiding? What are your likes & dislikes about the PDA? Prices? Good spots online to purchase?

Thanks in advance....this is one of many reasons I love this BBS.

    Clutch....YOU RAWK DUDE!!!

    :D

Try the Dell Axim line. You seem to get a lot for the price. I would try to get something that is Windows CE based, so you can run Excel, Word and Outlook off of it. I would also try to get something that is Bluetooth and Wireless, so you could surf then net near a hot spot. There was a whole thread on this a couple of weeks ago.

Smartphone is the way to go. I can get pretty much all the PDA function on my Nokia 3660. What's your friend's price range? If he have few bucks to spend, get one of the new Nokia 7710 (they don't sell it in the U.S., but you can get one on ebay).
