ok this has got me scratching my head maybe someone here can help:

i got some logitech 5300-e 5.1 speakers. they are awesome never had a problem yet. i have a turtle beach catalina 7.1 sound card. for some reason right now only the front two speakers are outputting sound whenever i watch anything including dvds. when i open the turtle beach sound control panel it is set to a 6 speaker set up and when i do a sound test for the speakers the sound does work on all the speakers. so one i do know all the speakers work otherwise the sound test would have indicated elsewise. all the cables are secure and in properly both in the sub and the sound card. i dont know what may have happened it was working fine last night when i was playing doom 3. the only thing that i did differently from now and then was turn off the pc to put in a back case fan nothing else. i didnt change or mess with any settings.

any ideas as to what maybe causing the problem? any help would be appreciated in advance
(i do have all the lastest drivers and i am running xp pro sp2 if that helps)
