I have xp on laptop and i have a few other accounts besides mine own sets on the system. it have one for my girl and i have the guest account one on. my questions is is there anyway to set the account where tehy users are not able to install or change stuff on it. i mean anything such as installing programs changing wallpaper clearing history and anothers is there way i can set these especialy the guest account where they can only visit sites and not just anywhere they want on my big computer my account is list as adminastrative but routinely gets locked out somehow and the pc tell me to contact an adminastrater to get the account out of lock. restart the computer and then my account is gone and it shows the adminastrater girls and guest. I can log into the adminastrative account and it sohws the my account on user account but i see no ways to move the lock off. like i say it keeps doin it. i not entering bad passwrd over and over either, how can i fix it?
I would like to know something too. I think my nephew is looking up p*rn on my laptop because every time he gets off of it the history is cleared from the Guest account, the account that he uses. Is there anyway to set the Internet settings where he cannot do this? Also, I use Firefox for Internet and so does everybody else that uses this laptop so the setting would need to be done under Firefox. Anyway to do this?
have you tried to look at the cookies? or does he delete them too? you can always install a keylogger in your computer and catch him
to Answer Dookie's question, I think the only way to do that is to shove kit-kats and pickles up the computer's butt.. if you know what I mean..
