The thing died on me last night, Power supply still works. Tried the paper clip bypass method and the lights and fans operate but at low power. MB is Asus P4S800D-X. Now I need a recommendation on a similar MB because this model is no longer sold anywhere, need one that would be available at lets say Fry's today for pick up. I am not looking to upgrade my pc right now cause I just want a simple fix so I can access my files. So please don't suggest something too fancy.

    Current setup
    Intel Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz
    2mb Ram
Nvdia Ge Force 5700VE 256MB ( I know this is laughable these days)
    Seagate 250 GB HDD
    Sony DRU810 DVD-RW drive
    Creative Audigy Sound blaster

The system is about 4 years old. Built it myself with the help of a friend back in 04.

Any help will be truly appreciated
