I finally got some spare time after my move and decided to fire up some games on the PC -- something I don't get to do as much as I used to. Funny thing... when you're broke, you have time to do a lot of things, but don't have the money and when you start making good money, you don't have the time to do anything decent. But anyway, I digress...

I went out and bought Icewind Dale and Diablo II (which is about to give me arthritis since it's a click-fest). I'll probably finish Diablo II first and then move onto Icewind Dale if I get the chance. Anybody else out there playing these games? If not, which ones are you playing?

I bought Diablo II on Monday. Looks pretty good so far.

But I am absolutely, positively hooked on Unreal Tournament. I can stare at the graphics for hours and hours. I love that game. I also play StarCraft alot also. I create my own worlds which gives it alot of different scenarios that makes the game endless.

What character are you playing as? I selected Sorceress (hee hee) because I like the spell-casting. Anyway... I appear to be stuck right now because I can't figure out what my next quest is or how to even GET the next quest. Ugh. But anyway... it's been a click-fest like I said, but still an addictive game just like the original Diablo. IMO, anyway. [IMG]

    Smeg,

Here I was thinking all you did was drink beer. Some of us should get together and play online. I've never played across the 'Net before.

I want to try Diablo 2 out over the 'Net if anyone's interested.

    The Good Doc --

Have you ever played the original? That has to be the most addicting computer game ever.

I had no idea, though, that made a sequel until I bumped into it at Software Etc at Willowbrook, Saturday.

Amazing stuff!!!! I'm totally loving this game (during the sapre, precious moments I have to spend on it).

As I upgrade my computer (from my puny 48 MB RAM), we'll have to hook it up with that multi-player mode.

    Doc,

I am playing the Barbarian. I figured that he was the first person on Diablo I that I used so I just started from there.

From what I can tell, I have to keep walking to find new quests. Just keep going through mazes and stuff and when you eventually fill up your inventory, go back and sell it off and look around for someone with the "exclamation point" lit over their heads. I have found 2 quests like that. I thought I was stuck but I just kept fighting.

Skin Flutin' III. It's the same as the original but it never gets old.

And... Tony Hawk for the Dreamcast. I saw the BirdHouse team in Salt Lake a few weekends ago. Tony Hawk and Andrew Reynolds were amazing. Kris Markovich was pretty banged up, although he pulled off a cool hard-flip late 180, and a couple of huge b-side 180s.

    Smegmeister,

I've had AOE2 since it came out... I loved it, but got bored with it after a while. Maybe in the future we can hook up although since you Aussies have everything backwards, you'll probably be eating breakfast and playing. [IMG]

And I've been watching your threads as of late. It appears you've gotten quite a bit more serious and have gone on some insane path of creating threads of substance and responses with tangible/well-thought-out opinions. It appears the tropical fruit of the board (Mango) has rubbed off on you... I think you need catharsis... once the season gets started and the chat is going full-bore, we will rid you of that serious vein.

    Mango,

I hope you're reading this... you will NOT capture another victim, you... you... SERIOUS POLICEMAN!!! [IMG]

    Stone Cold Hakdaddy,

Yup, I played the first one and was addicted to it like no other game I've ever been addicted to with the exception of Civilization. I think I blew out a mouse clicking fireball spells in the original Diablo. [IMG]

Yeah, once I get the hang of things in this Diablo, we all need to get an online session going. I've got a Level 11 or 12 Sorceress at the moment and I'm about to get my butt kicked I think... [IMG]

    DoD,

Crisco.*, BobFinn* and DoD are left to do. Since I was able to convert Smeg, the rest of you will be cake and ice cream.
